Join the "Vitality Synod-Wide Steps Challenge" running from Saturday, Oct. 23rd to Monday, Nov. 1st!

All CUWAA staff and faculty who are currently enrolled in a Concordia Health Plan and registered with the Vitality wellness program are eligible to participate. Vitality is an interactive and personalized wellness program that makes it easy for you to live your healthiest life. Earn points and rewards for being a healthier you!

Points & Prizes:

  • Winning Prize – 200 points: Top team; 100 points: 2nd – 10th place teams.
  • Participation Prize – 35 points for all participants that create a team and successfully track steps throughout the challenge.
  • All activity submissions are due by Friday, Nov. 5th.
  • Winners will be announced Sunday, Nov. 7th on the Vitality challenge platform.

How to join the challenge:

  1. Login to Vitality at
  2. Click on the Community tab and then the My Challenges option.
  3. Find the “Synod-Wide Steps Challenge 2021” challenge and then click on View Challenge.
  4. Start your own team or join our university wide team: CUWAA.
  5. Review the About this Challenge section for participation rules and FAQ’s.

How to track your steps:

  • Be sure to download the Vitality Today app currently available for iPhone or Android.
  • Track your steps through a fitness device or smartphone app. For assistance linking to Vitality:
  1. Login to Vitality at
  2. Click on the Resources tab and then the Guide to Vitality option.
  3. Click on the Linking to Vitality option on the side panel.
  4. Click on the Fitness Devices sub-option for device setup help.
  5. Click on the Vitality Today sub-option for Vitality app help.
