Brenden Lewison (’21), works for the PGA Tour in the Tournament Operations department

With the PGA Tour, Brenden’s responsibilities include overseeing the building process for all temporary infrastructure related to the FedEx St. Jude Championship, part of the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup playoff series. He manages more than 50 vendors responsible for the execution of the event. He also serves as a team liaison for the Presidents Cup International Team, assisting the players, caddies, and staff with execution of team competition and activities.

While he was in school, CUW and the Sport and Entertainment Business (SEB) program offered direct exposure to industry professionals and insightful experience through class projects and internships. This directly led to Brenden’s eventual internship/career in the golf industry. Brenden values hands-on learning experience, and his time in the SEB program at CUW provided him just that. He is grateful for the connections and opportunities that his program provided him, even through the times of uncertainty.

“Through all the personal and professional growth I experienced at CUW, I was constantly shown and reminded of God’s plan for us,” Brenden said. “All uncertainty about our career paths or future opportunities is relieved when we’re reminded that His plan has already been laid out for us. By His saving grace it leads us back to Him.”
