How long is OT school?
The answer to this question depends on your background. Concordia University’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy program offers a few different options for you.
If you have a bachelor’s degree:
You can follow our post-baccalaureate route. If you have pre-requisites, this program takes 2.5 years. What if you don’t have the pre-requisite courses? You can talk to an Admissions counselor about your options.
If you’re an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):
Check out our OTA Bridge program. If you’re a COTA and want to further your education, this program is for you. Do you have a bachelor’s degree? If so, you can expect this program to take 3 years. What if you don’t have your bachelor’s degree? You can expect the program to take 4 years.
If you don’t have a bachelor’s degree:
Concordia University offers a variety of options for you. You can follow the accelerated path and finish the bachelor’s and master’s program in 4.5 years.
