CUW faculty have selected Grace Sukowaty as the Student of the Month for December 2021.
Grace is a junior double majoring in biomedical science (pre-med) and Spanish.
According to Prof. Brian Gunderson, who nominated her:
“Grace embodies the Concordia mission of service to the Church and the world. She has served as secretary and co-president of the Pre-Medicine Club, was an SI Leader for Biology 151/152, contributed to Haven Band, and is a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. Grace serves at her church working with the congregation’s Children’s Ministry and Kids Kamp.
“Currently, Grace is working in the Testing Center and she also works as a CNA at the Surgical Unit at Bellin Hospital. She seeks to learn more about other cultures and to serve as a pediatrician, and she will enhance her care for her future patients and cultural competence through studying abroad in Spain next semester.”
