Artisan Market
Every Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. North Avenue Market hosts a pop-up market in support of local artists. Enjoy food, coffee, art, and new vendors every week. On Tuesdays the market is home to music bingo nights from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
Super Mario at the Rivoli
Curious about The Super Mario Bros. Movie but not particularly interested in paying full price admission at the Marcus? The film is playing at the Rivoli in Cedarburg every night at 7:00 P.M. for $4 ($2.50 on Tuesdays) until May 4th.
The Rivoli only accepts cash or check.
Jeremy Garrett
Singer, songwriter, and fiddle player Jeremy Garrett is playing Saturday, April 29th at 8:00 P.M. at The Miramar Theatre. You can hear his work with the GRAMMY award-winners The Infamous Stringdusters as well as on his independent albums. Tickets start at $18. Doors open at 7:00 P.M.
Lynden Sculpture Garden
Celebrate International Sculpture Day this week at the Lynden Sculpture Garden. Over 50 sculptures grace 40 acres of park, lake, and woodland, open to the public for exploration Fridays through Wednesdays from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. International Jazz Day
International Jazz Day is Sunday, April 30th. Celebrate with the Milwaukee Jazz Institute at Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. The event is free and open to the public, and will include performances from MJI students and faculty, a jazz history presentation, and a jam session open to all ages of musicians and listeners. Craft at Michaels
This Sunday, Michaels in Grafton is offering a free in-store workshop from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. for painting mini birdhouses. Supplies are provided. You can sign up here. Michael’s also offers several free online art classes throughout the week, including one on how to convey woodgrain in your paintings on Tuesday, April 25th at 3:00 P.M. and another on charcoal portraits on Friday, April 28th at 12:00 P.M.
