Concordia University Wisconsin is pleased to take part in the global generosity movement known as #GivingTuesday on December 3. All Concordia dollars raised in the one-day online giving celebration will help to fulfill the university’s greatest financial needs, including operations expenses and scholarships for students.

“My hope is that this nationwide movement inspires our alumni, students, parents, and friends to show their support for Concordia,” said Katie Burton, director of the Concordia Fund. “Any gift, of any size will make a big difference.”

#GivingTuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on December 3, friends of Concordia are asked to visit CUW Giving Day and give generously to our uncommon Christian education.

“We humbly ask members of our Concordia community (employees, students, parents, and alumni) to give what they can so that together, we can have a large impact on the future of our beloved university.”
