Concordia employees were notified today by University President Rev. Patrick T. Ferry, PhD, during a biweekly employee Town Hall meeting using Zoom technology.

“To me, the best thing about Concordia is the people,” says Ferry. “It’s a privilege to work alongside so many dedicated colleagues. We are humbled to receive this recognition.”

MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL: Concordia needs its workforce ‘more engaged than ever’ during pandemic

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s 2020 Top Workplaces list showcases 75 outstanding businesses in Southeastern Wisconsin. Companies are measured on qualities such as leadership, career opportunities, workplace flexibility, compensation, benefits, and the impact company policies have on innovation and morale.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage LLC.

The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few. An impressive 62 percent of Concordia employees participated in the survey.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has been awarding the Top Workplaces in the area for the past 11 years. This is the first year Concordia opted to participate in the survey.
