Professional Development Workshop:
Instructional Coaching Training Camp | July 30-August 3 @ Mequon Campus
This week-long intensive camp will focus on training school leaders to not only personally become an effective instructional coach, but will provide a train-the-trainer format which equips each participant to deploy a professional development program within their school district. Materials will be provided to help them develop the program.
Specific topics include:
- Instructional coaching models
- Coaching conversations
- Data-driven coaching
- Co-teaching
- Promoting evidence-based teaching
Participants will be invited back to campus 3 times during the academic year to reflect on implementation of professional development, celebrate successes, and discuss solutions to any barriers they encounter.
