Mequon Activities
- Take a class through Mequon-Thiensville Recreation Department. They have a variety of classes for all age groups!
- Attend a baseball game on CUW’s campus to cheer on your Chinooks!
- Take a walk outside at the Mequon Nature Preserve or Virmond Park.
- Try a round of golf at Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course or Missing Links Golf Course (Par 3) and Driving Range.
- Make sure to walk around and stop at local shops like Faye’s or get your nails done at Neroli Salon & Spa.
- Drive on the only gravel road in the City of Mequon on Rustic Road 65.
- Take a look at the Grohmann Museum or the North Point Lighthouse. These both do require admission tickets.

Activities Around Mequon
- Go to a Farmers Market. There are so many to choose from, but one you can try is the West Allis Farmers Market.
- Try a Trivia night at Pilot Project Brewing.
- Attend a Jazz in the Park night. It is a free, outdoor, summer music series happening multiple nights during the summer.
- Food Trucks in the Park happens once a month for the rest of the summer. It is the perfect time to try something new!
- Need to do something for a rainy day? Try one of the many museums in Milwaukee such as the Milwaukee Art Museum or the Milwaukee Public Museum.
- The Milwaukee County Zoo has a diverse array of animals including a family farm and big cat exhibits. You don’t want to miss out on it.
- Rent a kayak and explore of try a Riverwalk Boat Tour.
- Try your luck at a getting a strike at the oldest certified bowling alley in the United States in the basement of the Holler House.
- Can’t forget to go to the beach if it is a wonderful day outside. There are multiple public beaches in Milwaukee and in surrounding areas. It is free and always a great time!
