Are you still in the process of applying to pharmacy school? To qualify for Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy’s Priority Academic Merit Scholarship, be sure to have your application submitted by December 1.
The application process can feel like a lengthy ordeal. Hitting “submit” on the application can be a daunting, yet gratifying experience once it’s completed. If you’ve already submitted your application, good for you! If you haven’t gotten there yet, be sure to do so by December 1 to qualify for the Priority Scholarship.
Applicants who apply to Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy by December 1st have the opportunity to receive a priority scholarship worth $5,000. This scholarship is applied to your first year of CUW School of Pharmacy tuition. To qualify, applicants must have a PharmCAS cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above, and the application submitted by December 1. Applicants do not have to be fully accepted by the December 1 deadline.
Perhaps you are still finishing your prerequisites. Remember that the School of Pharmacy pre-pharmacy course requirements do not have to be completed before applying to pharmacy school. Many applicants are still completing their prerequisites during the application process.
There is also a myth that applicants must have pharmacy work experience before applying to pharmacy school. This is one of the most common School of Pharmacy questions. Working in a pharmacy is not the only way to gain pharmacy experience. Any first-hand involvement in a pharmacy setting can help you get an understanding of pharmacy and show commitment to the profession.
