Concordia University Wisconsin has named Danielle Kraak as its latest Student of the Month.

Danielle Kraak is a P3 Pharmacy student. Danielle is the coordinator for mental health initiatives through a pharmacy student organization, SNPhA. Danielle partnered with pharmacy staff to hold a Fresh Check Day on April 8th. The event focused on pharmacy students checking in on their own mental health and supporting their peers. Danielle’s passion for mental health education was evident; her leadership in planning and executing this event was exceptional. She coordinated and trained student volunteers, worked with faculty to incentivize attendance, and created engaging activities for students. She was organized, detailed and focused, while balancing this event with other responsibilities. Danielle was able to take this event from an idea through execution, and I was blessed to be her partner through this process.

Danielle was nominated by Kristy Sprung of the Pharmacy department.
