Peggy Troy, president and chief executive officer of Children's Hospital and Health System, will be the guest speaker at Concordia University Wisconsin's spring Leadership Series breakfast.


Peggy TroyThe event will take place from 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday, May 24 in the Siebert Lutheran Dining Hall on the university’s main campus, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive in Mequon.

Troy’s keynote address that morning will be “Leading in Service to Kids and Families.”

Troy held progressive leadership roles in both adult and pediatric health systems prior to joining Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in 2009, and has served on the national board of the Children’s Hospital Association.  She is a member of The Greater Milwaukee Committee and is current chair of the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center board of directors.  Troy started her nursing career as a nurse intern at Children’s Hospital.  She earned her degrees in nursing from Marquette University, Milwaukee, and De Paul University in Chicago.

The popular Leadership Series is a longstanding, semiannual event that exists to recognize and encourage ethical leadership principles and provide networking opportunities for business and community leaders in a dynamic, Christian higher education environment.  Past corporate speakers include Rick Graber, of The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, Jim Kacmarcik, of Kapco Family of Companies, and Christine Specht, of Cousins Submarines, Inc.

Corporate sponsorships are available for the May 24th event for $200 and include preferred seating for eight, along with company recognition. Two supporting sponsorships are available for $1,000, and include two tables of eight in front, along with a company logo table sign, and company logo included in the event program.  Individual tickets for the buffet breakfast cost $25.
