Flexibility. Whether it’s in our personal or professional lives, flexibility is something we work tirelessly to maintain. At CUW, we understand that, and it’s a big reason why we offer courses one night a week at our accelerated centers. Between balancing work, marriage, kids (and all their activities), there are few (if any) hours left in the day. We want to help ease this ‘juggling act’ for everyone who wants to continue their education.
In the past, we’ve asked the question “what does one night a week mean to you?” The answers we received were varied, but most revolved around flexibility. This flexibility is what allows people like you to advance their careers, and discover their personal and professional calling.
On Thursday March 19th, we will be hosting a Career Night focused on helping you “advance your career, and discover your calling.” This Career Night will teach you the keys to cultivating your personal brand, advancing your career, and finding fulfilling work. As a Christ-Centered University, it’s our mission to develop students in mind, body, and spirit. This development is vital in preparing students for their careers, but also in helping them find meaningful and fulfilling work.
A recent Gallup Poll showed that 70% of Americans hate their jobs, but we don’t think that needs to be the case. By finding fulfilling work, your career becomes more than the ‘9 to 5 grind’, and more than just earning a paycheck. It becomes a way for you to grow as a person and enjoy the path that you have created for yourself. At our Career Night, we can provide you with the tools to get started on that path.
Finding a more fulfilling career doesn’t need to be a struggle. You don’t need to choose between earning an education and spending time with your family. With flexible learning options and the tools learned at our Career Night, you can start down the path of success.
