Who does not like live action Disney movies for FREE? Well, at two different showing times on the 28th, Concordia took students to the movies. It was all 100% free, plus they bused us to and from the movie theater (that is only a couple minutes down the road, so you could have driven yourself if you really wanted to). In addition to the movie ticket, at the earlier showing time, there was free pizza, and it was basically unlimited because they just kept it coming whenever it ran out. It was pretty great pizza, too, because I love thin crust. But wait, there’s more! We also got free refillable sodas and a small popcorn to increase our movie enjoyment experience!

I forgot to mention, the movie we saw was in the ultramax seating which is the super nice seating with large, cushioned reclining chairs and large cup holders. We had the whole upper seating area to ourselves (as in, to Concordia students), so we didn’t have to worry about bothering other movie goers. It was a pretty great time and Concordia provided everything, which I really appreciated. This isn’t a once-in-a-lifetime experience, either. Concordia does this about once a semester with the most recent and popular movie that’s out. Last semester if was Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. And if that isn’t enough, this past Friday they also played both Tangled and Moana on campus for anyone to join (with more free popcorn!). Concordia is always thinking up stuff to do for us!
