Concordia University Wisconsin's Batterman School of Business kicks off its 5th MBA Industry Leaders Seminar Series this Thursday, Sept. 5, with a presentation titled "Strategic Entrepreneurship: Recipe for Success" by Omar Shaikh, president of SURG Restaurant Group.

Six experts will share their insights during these free, one-hour lectures over a 10-week period in Room 008 of the pharmacy school, 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon. Presentations will begin at 6 p.m., preceded by a 45-minute networking event with refreshments. A brief question-and-answer session will follow all lectures.

Sponsored each spring and fall by CUW’s Batterman School of Business MBA Program, the preferred MBA Program of the Green Bay Packers, the series features speakers who share case studies along with real-world examples.

“This series is an incredible opportunity for global leaders at every stage of development to enhance their learning and push internal paradigms to advance to the next level,” said MBA Director Dr. Brian Curry.  “The first presentation is no exception, as Omar Shaikh is a serial entrepreneur who has excelled in numerous facets of the business world.”
